FLYING
SQUIRREL REMOVAL
DO FLYING SQUIRRELS REALLYÂ FLY?
Not really. Flying squirrels can glide through the air from tree to tree using the folds of skin between it's front and rear legs. They work like a parachute and can control their direction and descent.

Flying squirrels typically use existing nesting areas from other animals, or the insulation in your attic as a place to give birth to their young. They'll have 2-5 babies usually between March and May, which is when you're most likely to hear them.
SIGHTS
Flying squirrels are pretty unique and easy to spot. They are nocturnal though, so you'll likely see them at night, and they like big families so if you see one, there are probably more around.
SMELLS
Like most wild animals, flying squirrels can leave a nasty mess and you may start to smell their urine and droppings. If there's a nasty scent around the house and you've already taken out the trash, give us a call.
SOUNDS
Much like regular squirrels, flying squirrels may be scurrying around your attic or roof. The main difference is the time of day. Regular grey squirrels are active more during the day time, and flying squirrels at night.
