OPOSSUM REMOVAL
OPOSSUM PROBLEMS?
Unlike squirrels and raccoons, opossums don't typically make holes to get into your home, but they will take advantage of the holes made by other animals, as well as gaps left around your eaves during construction. Once inside an opossum can wreak havoc, from urine and droppings to damaged insulation and chewed wires, you'll have a lot to deal with if they settle in.
The Critter Man is here to help you with this pest problem. We will come to your home, assess the situation to determine where they're living, how they're getting in, and how many you have, and then provide a detailed plan on how we'll humanely catch them, clean up the mess, repair the damage, and prevent them from returning in the future.
SIGHTS
Opossums found in the house are often pregnant females looking to nest. You may see them crawling on the roof to access your attic, or crawling around the base of your house to access your crawlspace.
SMELLS
Opossums will play dead and emit a death-like odor if they're scared. While the scent is not as strong as a skunk's, it can get on your pets. You may also start to smell the odor of the urine and droppings.
SOUNDS
Opossums have many traits similar to raccoons. If you hear loud sounds in your attic, or rummaging in your trash, it might be an opossum. Give us a call and we'll track down the pest no matter what it is.
